Vocational Workshop
It is a training for a specific vocation in industry or agriculture or trade. It prepares trainees for jobs that are based on manual or practical activities, traditionally non-academic, and totally related to a specific trade, occupation, or vocation. It is sometimes referred to as technical education as the trainee directly develops expertise in a particular group of techniques or technology.
When people want to seek employment, vocational specialists assist in job training to evaluate abilities and aptitude. They contact prospective employers and assist with job applications and interviews. The specialists analyze the jobs to determine what reasonable accommodations are needed. They are also available to assist in the training for the skills needed to perform the essential functions of the job.
For better adapted solutions to meet these needs APEX has mutual agreement with Professional Organization Centers to conduct Practical Workshop by their experts in their premises where accessibility of equipments, practical environment and facilitator availability to institutionalize learning and skills in addition to hands on training to cover 25 % theoretical and 75 % practical as per the agreed programs.
The workshop also includes Trainees mentoring to insure that the developed skills are properly practiced and can be transferred and applied directly to their specific job.
